The “Dirty Laundry” exhibition, shown at the Nuaanuu gallery in Hawaii, asked artists to hand-decorate shirts using methods that are typically undesirable for clothing. We created a series of shirts using familiar patterns–plaid, chevrons–but created with various wood stains, applied with an eyedropper.
