Check it out.

Hello Ohio! Labour will be in Columbus on Feb 18, addressing the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts. We promise it'll be fun.

We've collaborated again with illustration juggernaut Justin Fines – this time a short piece for the NY Times Magazine'sYear In Ideas’ online issue, visualizing a world with ‘printable batteries’.

We've been quite busy the last few months working on a half-hour documentary. Welcome to the Family examines the close relationships Porsche owners have with their automobiles. The doc premieres tonight, 10/15, at 10E/9C on IFC. It'll be in the rotation the next few weeks, so check your listings.

Labour has directed 5 fun short spots for Kate Spade for their upcoming Summer fashion line. They're rolling out over the next few weeks, so keep an eye open for them.

Labour is proud to have been featured in Print Magazine's New Visual Artists issue (March/April 2009) as one of 20 artists under the age of 30 selected.

A selection of our typographic work is featured in the #7 issue of Slanted, a German design publication. Geil!

Labour has recently relocated its office to the moderate climes of Williamsburg. We are pleased to be part of the Athletics studio family, and can now be found at 190 N. 10th St.
In publishing news, we've recently appeared in Graphic Designology 300 and Color & Layout. Also, Wyeth contributed an essay to Dresscode's new book Never Sleep, out now.

Check out our ADC Young Guns 6 interview.

Labour rings in 2009 with some new projects – a short animated film for GOOD about the Opium trade, another short film done with RE:UP for Scion premiers Jan 22 in New York and LA. Also, a feature interview for ADC Young Guns 6 is arriving soon, and you can see a teaser here. We've done a new T-Shirt design for this year's SXSW festival and have a few more projects on the burner. Busy!

Been busy. Here are a few things we've been up to: just wrapped up a video with Mother for a sneaker company, putting some finishing touches on a Transparency piece for GOOD and had some work published in the new Invitation and Promotion Design book. We'll post links as they're released.

Look for our illustrations for the Intelligencer section of New York magazine. We'll be doing a few weeks worth (9.15, 9.22 and 9.29).

Labour has a piece in the 2008 RISD Biennial, open from Sept 11th to the 29th.

Labour has been selected as an Art Directors Club Young Gun. Swing by the opening on Sept 4th to say, "Hi." We'll also be part of a little presentation/chat on Sept 18th.

Some of our work is featured in a couple of new design books, Type Addicted and Over and Over.

We currently have work up in the Dirty Laundry t-shirt show at Nuuanu Gallery in Honolulu. The show opens Sept 5th and runs through the 20th. See the shirts here.

Labour's work on the Vh1 Rock Doc NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell has been nominated for two Emmys, including Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Graphic Design and Art Direction. Fingers crossed!

Labour has launched its new, shiny website.

Artist/surfer/skater/awesome guy Mike Ming created custom latptop artwork for Dell computers, and we created a short video profile of his life and work. Done in conjunction with Mother Industries and Greencard.

Seed Media and MoMA recently held their MIND08 Conference for which we created print and web materials. The conference was an extension of their Design and the Elastic Mind exhibit about the meeting of science and design. We also worked with Seed and MoMA on the Experiment video.

Labour is continuing its relationship with Google Inc., developing the visual system for their PrintAds product, which extends the Google universe into the realm of newspaper advertisements.
